Landon Lueck

A true mid-westerner, Landon Lueck comes from a small town in Wisconsin, River Falls. He stayed in the state for college, attending UW-Stout, and transferring to UW-Madison for landscape architecture. Landon is most famous for his role as one of seven cast members in MTVs ‘The Real World Philadelphia.’ He’s also appeared on various ‘Real World/Road Rules Challenges’ and in the movie ‘Open Mic'rs.’ Landon’s favorite hobbies include all kinds of sports including waterskiing and wakeboarding and he’s been quoted as saying, "If I'm not outdoors running around, sweating then I am not happy at all." He still resides in Madison after entering property development and enjoying a promising career in the professional field of modeling. He even has his own clothing line called Glyde Clothing . Landon loves to travel, and has been a guest at celebrity Spring Break events we’ve hosted in Mexico.

Recent News

Interested in what Landon's been up to recently? StudentCity's own Tony Bartalini interviewed him about his plans for the future, spring break etc...Check it out below.

So, what have you been up to since the show has ended?

I am now racing mountain bikes at a professional level and hoping to be fully sponsored by Trek this summer (fingers crossed). I also have gone back to school at the University of Wisconsin - Madison for my degree in Landscape Architecture. I will graduate in May this spring and I'm very, very excited!

Do you usually see, or keep in touch with some of the other cast mates? If so, who?

When I was traveling to give lectures and host fun events at colleges and high schools nation-wide I would run into many cast members but being back in school and being submerged in the cycling subculture I don't happen across any unless I make an effort. I do love many of the cast members from the show but the fact is that we all live busy lives and it's tough to take off and fly to a city across the nation somewhere when I have deadlines for projects and my senior thesis to work on as well as a full racing schedule and friends being engaged and married left and right!

What are your top 3 favorite memories from your season of the show?

From the Philly season -
-flying to Philly for the first time and moving into the house not knowing anything about what "the real world" was or what I was getting myself into
-our vacation to Fiji - it . . . was . . . amazing!
-the heartbreak and uncertainty of leaving the house and my roommates - it was tough but it made me conscious of how much I'd come to love them

And your top 3 most embarrassing moments?

-the knife episode
-any other night I was totally inebriated on film
-when they showed me with someone in my bed in the dark "moving around"

What are your proudest accomplishments to this date? In life, doesn't have to be Real World related.

-turning pro in mountain biking
-winning state in tennis
-owning my own properties

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Possibly Santa Rosa, CA, possibly back in Wisconsin owning my own bicycle shop and purchasing real estate. Married with a couple little ones and very, very content.

Are you excited about going on Spring Break with us? and have you been there before?

This is my fourth year on spring break with StudentCity.Com and every single one has been a great experience. Everyone is there to have a great time and is super relaxed. I've been to Jamaica, Cancun (four times), Puerto Vallarta, Acapulco, South Padre Island, TX, Panama City, FL and the Bahamas and the students make the trip every time. However, last year was my favorite of all time - Paula, Johnny Bananas and myself had the most fun I've had on spring break yet - we played beach volleyball (which I have the scar to prove), went on a canopy zip-line tour, clubbing every night and deep sea fishing where Paula caught a 100" rare stripped marlin, Johnny caught a Tuna and I caught a 90" Sailfish! So amazing! I can't wait for this year in the Bahamas! This year however, spring break will be my last spring break and not only that but it is an authentic spring break for me from my senior year so I'll be totally ready to go hard and have as much fun as I can take. I am training for a 1/2 Ironman that is only one week after spring break so drinking will have to be done in moderation.....oh, wait...it's spring break!
