Canadian Evan Starkman has appeared on two seasons of MTV’s ‘Real World/Road Rules Challenge’ including ‘Fresh Meat’ and ‘The Duel.’ As a hockey player on scholarship to Cornell University in New York, Evan’s athleticism gave him an edge on both shows. His gregarious personality also made him a viewer favorite. Intent on creating “change in the world,” Evan majored in liberal arts and studied social movements. And his next move? Partying with StudentCity.com in Acapulco for Spring Break .

The fifteenth season of the challenges, took place in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, which featured “veterans” vs. “rookies” based on how many challenges the cast members had been on before. This challenge is presently being aired.

So, what have you been up to since the show has ended?
Since the show, life definately gets little wonky and things sort of change some for the worse and a lot for the better. But considering everything, i truly feel like a kid who won the lottery. I have had the unbelievable opportunity to travel the world, do some of the craziest shit imaginable and meet a ton of cool people. Now that I have graduated (Cornell 07) I have been putting all my energy into my clothing company Branch Out Clothing . Branch Out is a new kind of company because we are more concerned with affecting change than filling our wallets. Our mission is to promote awareness and personal growth by spreading positive messages and integrating social awareness into our daily routines. When you look good you feel good and when you are changing the world you look even better. That is why I donate 50% of our profits to various charities. This is my way of setting an example and I invite others to follow in my footsteps. Moreover, any Branch Out retailer is given the opportunity to choose a local or global charity to receive the donations from items purchased in their stores, ensuring that our contributions are felt widespread in each community in which our clothes are found. So you see, when you wear Branch Out, you are taking the first step, you are spreading a positive message. You are joining a movement to change the way people think, the way people feel and the way the world works. Do you usually see, or keep in touch with some of the other cast mates? If so, who?
I have definitely made some great friends from the show, like Kenny , Paula , Johnny, Ace and Coral . I talk to Kenny everyday and he is my best friend. Paula and I are super close and she even came up to Canada to meet my family. Other than that, I think a lot of the kids from the show are a waste of oxygen and I wouldn't use any of my day time minutes on them.
What are your top 3 favorite memories from your season of the show?
There are so many great memories I have from all the shows I have done....a lot of it does not even make it to air so it is hard to say.
I guess a couple are:
1. When Kenny and I first arrived to Australia on Fresh Meat we had to live together in a hotel for about a week. The whole week we just partied and talked about how we were going to kick the shit out of the Veteran team....turns out it wasn't us vs them, but it was a wild time.
2. While we were in Australia on Fresh Meat me, Theo and a couple of other kids used to jog down the road to stay in shape. Eventually we made friends with this local cow farmer who was 93 and only had one big beautiful blue eye. He was great, and so we used to go for a jog and then help him milk his cows. good times.
3. Any time me or anyone else in the house is getting laid I am happy.
And your top 3 most embarrassing moments?
I am hoping to that my top three embarrassing moments of all time will happen this year in Acapulco with Student City Spring Break. I definately think that I am going to bare foot and buck naked most of the time.
What are your proudest accomplishments to this date? In life, doesn't have to be Real World related.
Graduating from Cornell, losing my virginity, going to the playboy mansion, being the #1 ranked slow dancer in North America, going to a strip club with Mr Belding and changing the world through Branch Out Clothing.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
On Spring break with Student City.
Are you excited about going on Spring Break with us? and have you been there before?
I have never been on Spring Break and I am so pumped. I truly believe that afterwards if my plane goes down, I will be smiling ear to ear.
