At a young age, $quigz has already played at venues that most DJ’s dream of with his ear for mixing combinations of unrelated genres to truly move a crowd. $quigz can be summed up in one word – Unique! His distinctive sound has already made a big impact on the Spring Break scene in 2008, which is why StudentCity is inviting him back for Spring Break 2009 in Acapulco!

Biography
$quigz has studied and drawn inspiration from the top DJ's of every scene including Hip-Hop, Rock, 80's, and Dance. Seamlessly blending these styles with his own, he has created a sound that transcends the boundaries of musical genres. His only goal is to make you scream…all night long.Although he has found himself spinning at private parties for the likes of The Rolling Stones, Tobey McGuire, Sheryl Crow, Missy Elliot and Hilary Duff, his eruptive and successful rise from Malibu frat boy to international star was no Cinderella Story. Passion, hard work, talent, integrity, and that indescribable "it" factor have fueled his journey to stardom.
Since bursting onto the club scene in 2007, $quigz has drawn favorable comparisons to some of the best club DJ's on the West Coast. While creativity, harmony & high energy are always key throughout his sets, that is not what sets him apart from the rest... you will have to come see that for yourself. DJ $quigz is style, and can rock a crowd with finesse like none other.
While 2008 is still young, he has already shared the stage and made single ladies make noise with Grammy-award winning Fatman Scoop at Body English in Las Vegas, blown whistles with Too Short, done the Jane Fonda with Mickey Avalon, and C-Walked with Snoop Dogg at his Ego Trippin CD Release party, hosted by MySpace.com.
And then there was Cancun. What was supposed to be a one-night stop during Spring Break turned into four nights of encore performances with over 5,000 people screaming his name at The City. It did not take much to convince him to stay. In fact, he would probably still be there had he not promised Opera (Hollywood) an audio eruption for Tha DoggFather, himself.
In under a year, $quigz has secured residencies at some of the hottest & newest clubs in Hollywood...a feat virtually unheard of in a highly competitive Hollywood scene. From Hollywood to the East Coast, $quigz's resume' reads like a series of Perez Hilton posts. Jet at The Mirage, Body English @ The Hard Rock, The Forum (North Carolina), Pearl & Skyline in Hawaii, and Vicci & Qua in Austin, Texas have all rocked to his beats. When they can keep him in town, The Roosevelt Hotel, Opera, GOA, Social, Area, and The Standard Hotel are just a few of the current LA hotspots giving him residency.
