Located in the middle of the South Padre Island Spring Break action, the Beachside Inn is a Spring Breaker’s paradise. This value-priced hotel has a great pool and Jacuzzi area and is just a short walk across the street to the beach. With all the essential amenities you’ll need in a suite setting, the Beachside Inn is the perfect place to pre-game and crash. And with easy access to South Padre’s nightlife by taxi, you won’t be far from all the craziness South Padre Island Spring Break can offer.
It's a fairly new hotel and the rooms are tidy and comfy enough... mirrors all along one wall, which is kinda fun and certainly makes getting ready to go out easier. If you're having 5 people in one of these rooms, bear in mind that they are a little small, and that the 5th person's bed is a psuedo-cot thing on the windowsill. It's comfy to sleep on, but it's not a full bed. The pool is decent and the beach is 2 minutes away on foot. However, don't ignore the location: it's not walking distance to the clubs, the restaurants, or Coca-Cola Beach unless you're willing to be on your feet for quite a while. But, less than stellar location aside, the rooms are great value for the money, and the staff is super-friendly (it's family-owned and operated). Just make sure you budget for cab fare.
