On-Site Positions Available
Each of our destinations has a variety of positions available of which you may be responsible for one or many:
- Sales staff
- Event promoter
- Customer service
- Airport greeter
- Nightclub staff
- Accountant
- Day event manager
- Night event manager
Basic Job Description
This position is a seasonal job that requires a 3-week minimum commitment in one of our destinations such as Cancun, Bahamas, or Panama City Beach. Currently hiring for the Spring Break 2012 season (Mid-February – Mid-April).
- Escort groups, either from their point of origin or the arrival airport to their final destination
- Provide destination information as well as tips and guidelines to ensure an enjoyable environment for all travelers throughout their tour
- Provide activity briefings and event details for all travelers
- Work closely with all StudentCity staff and vendors
Onsite Requirements:
- 3 week commitment from Mid-February 2012 til Mid April 2012.
- Attendance at our mandatory training session upon arrival on-site
- Responsible individual who can manage their time well and work effectively as part of a team
- The ability to be professional and conduct oneself accordingly while representing StudentCity
- Must be able to follow all instructions and guidelines as provided to you
- Willing to learn, cooperate, and actively participate while on-site
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment & maintain high energy
- High School diploma is mandatory. Currently enrolled or Graduated from College/University a plus
- Strong interest in the student travel market
- Understands that this is a volunteer position – you will be reimbursed for expenses only
- Leadership experience is an asset!!!
- Promotions and marketing experience is an asset!!!
- Prior StudentCity experience is an asset (as a traveler or staff member,) but not necessary
