  • Confirmed Celeb for Acapulco '08

You got to know native New Yorker Parisa Montazaran as one of the most interesting personalities on MTV’s nineteenth season of 'The Real World' filmed in Sydney. Don’t miss your chance to get to know her in person, at Spring Break 2008 in Acapulco with StudentCity.com. Although this NYU graduate with the nearly-perfect GPA has admitted to being somewhat of a "dork" in college, viewers really got to see another side of her as the weekly antics of the house-mates unfolded. In fact Parisa's days of partying with the rest of the cast even prompted a drunk-dial to her very strict and conservative parents back home in the States. Oops! Now that she’s back home this aspiring singer and songwriter is watching her previously-taped fights and hook-ups on MTV with the rest of us. And though Parisa has confessed to cringing while watching herself on the show, she admits that the experience was incredible and might not be matched by anything else in her life. Meet Parisa this February and March in Acapulco.

Recent News

Interested in what Parisa's been up to recently? StudentCity's own Tony Bartalini interviewed her about her plans for the future, spring break etc...Check it out below.

Have you ever been on Spring Break? If so, where?
Sophomore year I went to Jamaica with a few of my sorority sisters.

Where would be the number 1 destination of your choice for Spring Break?
ACAPULCO! Spring Break is such a short little break, I'd want to go
somewhere close enough that traveling there doesn't take forever and
beautiful so I can get away from freezing NY and unwind a bit.

What are you up to now or since The Real World ended?
Writing and recording my album and traveling a lot for speaking
engagements and appearances to promote the show.

What are your top 3 favorite moments on The Real World? Your top 3
most embarrassing moments?
Top 3 favorite:

1. Bungee Jumping
2. Winning the Fish Race at the Woolshed in Cairns
3. The Contiki Tour that I gave with Isaac and Ashli !!
Top 3 embarrassing:
1. Liking Alex
2. Getting carried home by Dunbar after 2 glasses of wine
3. Throwing up in the confessional
Damn those are embarassing.

Which cast members do you keep in touch with the most?
Ashli, KellyAnne, Cohutta and Isaac.

What are your proudest accomplishments to this date? In life, doesn't have to be Real World related.
Graduating early from NYU and the work I did inside and outside of the
classroom (interning in finance) throughout college. I'm really proud
of anything I accomplished working really hard on something I enjoy
doing. Now it's working on my album and singing the National Anthem at
the New Jersey Nets game was a cool moment.

Where do you see yourself in ten years?
Somewhere warm, smiling.

What was your favorite thing about Australia? I was there for a semester and loved it, so I want to hear your experience.
I loved Cairns. Going snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef and sailing
to Whitehaven Beach (with the white silica sand) and bungee jumping in
the middle of the rainforest...These are experiences you can't really
get back at home.

Parisa in each Episode of The Real World Sydney:

Episode 1: She is first introduced to Dunbar, where she instantly develops a crush on him until she realizes his devotion to his girlfriend. Parisa also feels threatened by Trisha and KellyAnne, because of their looks and begins with assumptions of their personalities. After watching KellyAnne get “sloppy” at the bar, she thinks she will be a babysitter for 4 months.

Episode 2: Parisa is upset about KellyAnne and starts talking about her with Shauvon in the bathroom, where KellyAnne overhears. She pretty much battles with Trisha and KellyAnne the entire episode, but makes peace with KellyAnne in the end.

Episode 3: Shauvon and Trisha go on a double date and try to convince Parisa to come, but she doesn’t want to feel like the fifth wheel. Parisa decides to drink some wine, where “being the lightweight she is” ends up getting completely hammered and passes out at the dinner table. Dunbar carries her home. Parisa expresses her hate for Trisha and hogs the computer, which extends their fight with each other.

Episode 4: It is unclear if Parisa is romantically interested in Dunbar, but she starts to realize the way he treats her and calls him out on it. They argue throughout the episode.

Episode 5: Parisa is upset about Dunbar’s “friendship” with KellyAnne. She is waiting for Dunbar to acknowledge the letter she wrote him, but is hurt when it seems as though she isn’t hot enough for him. Parisa plays her music to relax in the studio they have, which makes her feel more at home and like herself.

Episode 6: Parisa talks with KellyAnne and Shauvon about their past relationships.

Episode 7: Parisa is pretty low-key in this episode.

Episode 8: Parisa lets go a little and attends the Gay and Lesbian parade with Shauvon, Dunbar and Issac all dressed up in costumes. She gets a good understanding of Dunbar’s personality after hearing about his childhood.

Episode 9: Parisa wakes up the household by singing “Amazing Grace” loudly in the shower and everyone is upset. Parisa confronts Dunbar about making fun of her cooking and singing and questions her alliances.

Episode 10: Parisa starts drama by liking Alex (an Australian, Trisha has been hanging out with.) The drama continues through the entirety of this episode between her and Trisha.

Episode 11: Parisa is in the middle of fights because of the kissing of Alex and her not making Shauvon a grilled cheese sandwich. There’s drama again involving Parisa and other roommates. Parisa gets sick from drinking again and Trisha offers to help her home, but another fight breaks out.

Episode 12: Things heat up more with her fight with Trisha. Parisa then continues to hang out with Alex and Trisha is OK with it, but not around the house, so Parisa starts another heated argument.

Episode 13: Parisa hopes the best for Shauvon as she decides what to do about her boyfriend’s decision. However, Parisa was supposed to pick up a receipt from the Thai restaurant leaving the group to pick up the tab, which made everyone upset. She also gets into another fight with Dunbar.

Episode 14: Parisa gets into a little argument with KellyAnne because of her being called a slut for flirting with some guy at the bar.

Episode 15: Parisa is hoping that the new roommate is more like her rather than like Trisha and KellyAnne. She makes bad assumptions about her right away.

Episode 16: Parisa converses about what is going on with Dunbar and Ashli. Also, at work there is tension when Parisa has to be on a work team with Trisha.

Episode 17: Parisa begins fighting with Trisha again over using the phone and they go on about this throughout the entire episode. This eventually leads to Parisa being pushed to the floor by Trisha, which enables her to call management and complain.

Episode 18: Parisa is happy when Isaac returns because of his support for her. The battle continues between her and Trisha. She begins making rude comments about Trisha and vice versa. She eventually gets Trisha to go home for good and doesn’t care what everyone else thinks.

Episode 19: Parisa squashes her beef with KellyAnne after they all go out and party.
