The Real World Roommates — Emilee
Emilee, a Hooters girl, was born and raised in the North Shore of Massachusetts. She attended Florida Atlantic University for two years then decided to take a year off to save money. During that time, she emailed BMP and two months later..POOF, she was packing her bags and moving to Cancun for a few months to be a part of the cast and StudentCity. She's extremely outgoing, loves meeting new people, going new places, and has the knack to make you laugh. She's also a former ballerina and modern dancer of fourteen years. Why did you audition for The Real World?
I auditioned for the Real World because I was at a crossroads in my life. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do, and I felt like I needed an adventure - which is exactly what RW provided.
What was a typical day for you before the show?
A typical day for me? No day in my life is typical! I feel the same about my roommates, which is why we made it onto the Cancun season!
Were you nervous to move into the house with 7 other strangers? Why or why not?
Yes, I was very nervous, mostly because you have no idea what you are getting yourself into, and what you expected, isn't the outcome! The first month of the show I was kind of in this "freak out" mode, because I was like who are these people? Why I was casted with them - something's gotta give! But as I let my guard down and got to know them, it all fell into place.
In three words, how would you describe your Real World experience?
Crazy, surreal, life-changing.
What was your first impression when you met each one of your roommates?

- Jonna - Loved her eyes, thought she was really nice, and that we would get along great.
- Derek - Love at first sight! We were going to be besties!
- Bronne - I thought he was going to be the racist, pig. HAHAHAHA!! And he IS SO FAR FROM THAT it's not even funny.
- Joey - Cliché rocker jerk with a bunch of tattoos.
- Ayiiia - Cute drama queen. Proved to be both, and I love her for it.
How did you like working with the StudentCity staff?
Lol, I don't know how to answer this question because I never felt like I clicked with anyone except the captains because people were too concerned about getting caught being filmed smoking cigarettes. lol... but here, I'll try..Amanda was my favorite!! JKJK! Student City allows you to start friendships with people that you never thought you could be friends with. I loved our captains, and our lovely boss, they were all great people who I had a great time with.
What would you say are your best and worst traits?
My best traits are that I am outgoing, loyal, and funny - my worst is that when I'm sour, I'm sour, and there's nothing anyone can do to change my mood. I'm also insensitive sometimes, and I love to whine.
What's your guilty pleasure?
Celebrity gossip, I love Perez Hilton! & Hooters' chicken wings. YUM!
What do you find attractive in a person?
Someone who is loyal, funny, intelligent, outgoing, outspoken, with a good head on their shoulders, who can look at the world with an open mind.
What do you find unattractive in a person?
I don't like when someone is close minded, someone who is arrogant, or mean spirited.
What's your favorite thing to do in Cancun?
My favorite thing to do in Cancun was either Hooters with my girls, or Wednesday night at Pat O'Briens.

- Bar/Club in Cancun and why: Pat O'Briens. It reminded me of a bar I'd like to go to at home. It was outdoors as well, and was just a walk, instead of a wild bus ride, away.

What's your passion? What do you do when you just need to get away from it all?
I don't know what my passion is. I'm only 21. Some people are lucky enough to know what their passion is already, but I'm still finding mine. When I want to get away from it all, I usually listen to my ipod or read a book. Either that or I go for a drive in my car.
What are you hoping to achieve or do in the future?
I'm still trying to figure that out. I'd like to do some modeling, and I'm curious about production now, after watching some of the “behind the scenes” stuff. So, time will only tell.
