Cara Zavaleta is recognized as one the vixens of MTV's 'Road Rules South Pacific' and Gauntlet Challenges.' She was born and raised in Bowling Green, Ohio and has made a name for herself as a reality star and model. Cara is known for her physical beauty and charm that has gained her appearances across the country and in the Caribbean. She has appeared in a variety of radio, television and magazine interviews and was proclaimed 'Playmate of the Month' in November 2004 by ‘Playboy Magazine.’
Cara has appeared in television shows such as: “The Girl’s Next Door,” “Beat Charlie Moore,” and has worked on various MTV projects. She has modeled at the Palm’s Casino in Las Vegas and has recently been approached to participate in several modeling events around the world.
Cara’s most invigorating experience was with her Playboy Magazine involvement. Through her Playboy experience, she got the opportunity to model for Roberto Cavalli, attended famous parties, hang with celebrities, and gain more exposure in television and print media. With all the success Cara has gotten so far, she is still able to remain “down to earth.”
Lately, Cara has been about self-discovery. Since, she grew up around beautiful farm land, Cara has always been very respectful to the earth. She designed a reusable canvas bag, which has a logo saying “Green is the new Black.” This bag appeals to people whom are Earth-conscious, but fashion savvy as well. Cara partnered up with Carbonfund.org, a non-profit organization with the goal of reducing carbon discharge. The company’s philosophy is “Reduce what you can, offset what you can’t,” and it offers a lot of ways to conserve the Earth. Cara hopes that this isn’t just a passing fad, and would love for the trend to pick up. Clearly, this starlet has balanced her professional career with her personal goals of helping take care of the environment in the best way that she can. With her level- headed approach, it's only a matter of time before the big film auditions/offers start pouring in.
According to Cara's MySpace page , she loves relaxing at home with her cats and sipping a good glass of wine. She also loves to travel and explore cultures through cuisine and wine.
