If you are on Spring Break between March 1st and March 22nd go here and you won't regret it. Great Beach scene awesome club scene. The best clubs are Bora Bora and Cherry. Cherry is new and Spring Breakers have not yet experienced this joint. It's the shit, very similar to clubs in Acapulco. I was here in August and it was bumping hardcore. Mazatlan is so freaking awesome. The locals love spring breakers and bust there ass for them. Plus the local females are beautiful, I coldn't tell you about the guys b/c I wasn't looking. I hope to meet my wife in Mazatlan.
Mazatlan is also the place for raunchy adult fun. The craziest contests you'll ever see. Just hope your friends forget there cameras when these are going on. J/King.
Also Mazatlan is a great culture experience. You really get the feeling you are in Mexico and not some resorty lame vacation spot. Plus the taxis are awesome b/c they are cheap and resemble mini golf carts. Just hang on b/c you will fall out.
Can't wait to go back!!!

Mazatlan is the bomb. No question. Best for those who wanna do a wild spring break down in Mexico on a budget. ESPECIALLY for students in Texas, Arizona, and Cali, who can do the Party Bus. SICK clubs, great beach, (good for those who like to surf as well, it's got a pretty decent break) more free drinks than any other destination, the most inexpensive party package in MX but still an awesome lineup. Mazatlan is the original home of Spring Break, it was the first destination to host spring break for American students in Mexico back in the sixties. Not wall-to-wall packed like Acapulco or Cancun, but still AWESOME. I absolutely LOVE this place. Don Pelayo/HoJo the best hotel option for the partier, also one of the least expensive. Caravelle Beach Resort is a good second place, for those who want a good party hotel with plenty of students that is beachfront. Mazatlan is home to the absolute wildest day parties of any place I've been to, ask anybody who's been there. Bottom line: if you wanna do Spring Break in Mexico, can handle insane parties and tons of free drinks, want to go to Amazing clubs (and believe me, I've spent a good amount of time in Acapulco and Cancun, and these clubs are definitely sick as hell) and don't have tons of money, Mazatlan is the BEST OPTION. Without a doubt. Better beach than PV or Acapulco, beautiful, inexpensive, out of control parties, sick clubs--Maz is incredible.

I love Jamaica and I love Cancun! But Maz is dope! If you want that original spring break feeling then go here, party all week, pack the tums and excedrin cause you need it. Bull riding is good times and Rock on with the booze cruises! They said we could go horse back riding on the beach but I don't remember that part LOL. Maz has the sickest contest, the most drinks, pretty good food too. I remember most of Maz and the parts I do I rank them a 5 but the parts I don't I would prolly rank them a 10 cause it was prolly a sick night!

I had a lot of fun in Mazatlan, it's definately more laid back than Acapulco or Cancun, but the night life is still a lot of fun! The clubs get packed with crazy spring breakers which is always a good time, most of the clubs are pretty cool but the settings aren't nearly as incredable as the clubs in Acapulco. The taxis are really cheap and getting around is very easy! The people there are very friendly and you definately get more of a cultural experience there compared to some of the other destinations, it's not overly Americanized. I would definately recommend Mazatlan, its a bit cheaper than some other places and you will still have a great time, it's more easy going during the day but things get crazy at night when the tequila comes out!!!
