Sitting on the palm lit beach.
Sitting on the palm lit beach of Jomtien with the warn breezes caressing our tired bodies off the Gulf of Siam after an amazing day of activity, a thought came to mind!
How am I going to survive with the ever increasing cost of England when I retire, a spine chilling thought after spending most of my life travelling the world without a care and enjoying what the many varied countries had to offer. Income as a carpenter was never a problem and work was plentiful and well paid, approaching the big 50, it dawned on me that to achieve a viable pension at retirement was simply impossible.
I was in Thailand without a doubt one of the most exciting places I had travelled to in many a year, could I live here? No question about it, who in their right mind would not want to be in this amazing Country – The Kingdom of Thailand. The next question was how? The mind racing a full speed and beyond I said to my wife Nom who is Thai lets buy a Villa here and rent it out, we searched North, South, East and West and finally came back to the place we started Jomtien Beach, why, because as much as we love the 24 hour hustle and bustle of Pattaya with it’s miles of restaurants, bars, nightclubs and shopping facilities we needed a place to go “Home” to.

Reward will be given for information leading to arrests. These Cowards who assaulted these boys, and then "Ran Away", will be found and brought to justice!!
So i have attended spring break in PCB every year for the past few years its absolutely insein. If you havnt been but are considering it you cannot imagine what you are missing until you have been. It will give you something to talk about for years to come. This year MTV and MTVU will be there so it may very well be sicker than ever. I suggest you pickup a Panamania Card at a MTV booth..The drinks arent all that but it covers your cover charges for all clubs but La Vela which is 60 dollars!! But well worth it,stay at the Holiday Inn if your budget will alow for it. This year I wont be attending cuz Im going to Cancun! So I hope its KRUNK cuz i know PCB will be and at a third or the price! And as far as my 5 star rating its just because they wont allow anymore!
How can I be subtle about this... Well I can't... PCB is the place to be for Spring Break 2008! MTV, mtvU and a whole bunch of other corporate sponsors coming down to make sure that PCB is blowin up!! From the amazing super clubs of Club La Vela and Spinnaker to Hammerhead Fred's to Sharky's... The clubs are off the hook!
I went last year and it was the greatest time....you cant beat the price and the amount of fun you have
PCB is definitely this year's U.S. hot spot with the nice addition of Mtv and MtvU being live on location! I would recommend PCB to anyone who is looking for that crazy spring break vibe without having to leave the country, which also is great for the typical college budget. PCB is sure to bring all the same wonderful hangovers without breaking the bank. Count on anything and everything imaginable happening in PCB this year!
So PCB is pretty dope and great for a road trip or budget option. This was my first spring break spot... let me sum up the vacation for you... we took a bus from Albany, NY (30 degrees tops) to Panama (89), watch the whole season of 24, drank 10 gallons of jungle juice, passed out, woke up drank some more, 23hrs later checked in, hit up Walmart bought a keg hit the beach! The beach is the best part about PCB 101 things to do, keg stands and free swag. They had playboy bunnies down there one year, Snoop performed on the beach, La Vela has a pretty sick pool party, and Spinnakers is great and here's why... Bull Ridding, Noah's Rain (Rock Band Sickest!!!), and tons of frigin drinks! Yo so another sick place is Coyote Ugly, its like the movie just smaller they tie you up with caution tape make you funnel race and they make you do shots from their boots (sick!) Yeah overall PCB is sick and a good time I love international cause you don't have to worry about paying for so much stuff but if you don't have a passport or don't have the cash go here. The hotels are pretty sweet to cause they are all on the beach.
Both years I traveled in college, I was strapped for cash but my friends and I KNEW that we had to get away from the cold Oswego, NY winters for Spring Break ANYWHERE WARM. We had just finished up a tough wrestling season and this was definitely the place to be. We roadtripped it down and the ride wasnt even that bad! The bars was so fun, the clubs were sick, and the beaches were a great getaway. Partying on the beach all day then hitting the bars all night took a toll but we kept on truckin and hadda blast. MTV filmed a fashion show and my buddy got picked to be in it. After that I was in some other contest on MTV overdrive and it was ridiculous. My friends and I still talk about the trip today and the ones that haven't graduated are definitely heading back this year to PCB, I suggest you do the same!!!
The SunSpree Resort Hotel has a Tiki Bar by the pool that I was at every day and loved!! It was in the perfect spot, all the clubs we went out to were close by...the other thing I loved was the beach view from my room...definitely will stay here again when I go back!
