Puerto Vallarta is definitely my favorite Spring Break destination! The chill days are coupled with the exciting nights so I could experience the best of both worlds. Not to mention, of all the places I've been in Mexico, Puerto Vallarta has the most amazing restaurants - from the late night taco stand "Rico Mac Taco" to the high-end beach lounge Spiaggia; you will never go hungry. I can't wait to go back this year!

Puerto Vallarta is great if you're looking for something a little lower key and laid back but still with an energetic nightlife. Getaway Club is a perfect spring break party hotel but don't expect the Ritz - it's definitely budget. I lstayed at Las Palmas and would go back again for sure; the hotel staff is incredible and the pool bars are in a perfect spot for loungin and sippin. Make sure to bring some cab money; most of the clubs aren't within walking distance but a quick ride.

I loved going to Puerto Vallarta!! So many people from University of Maryland were down there with me.. but I still met so many other people from all over the US! I want to go back right now! You could party all day and night if you wanted to, participate in daily contests, or you could just relax by the pool sipping on strawberry daiquiris. The meal plan was good but I did go to other local restaurants as well. The party package was a must, I honestly do not remember spending any money on drinks while being down there! Plus I love getting dressed up for theme parties like Mardi gras, new years, st patty's day, etc. However, we did have to pay for cab rides because most of the clubs and restaurants weren't walking distance, but the cab rides weren't expensive. I always had a great time going out at night, Christine's was an awesome night club and is rumored to be Lindsay Lohans favorite spot. The ZOO was the late night club where my friends and I partied until 5am. I would definitely go back!
