This is not your backyard, it's Louie's. And he sure knows how to throw a party for South Padre Island Spring Break. Each year, Louie's Backyard is the site for greatest shows in South Padre, which have included DJ Skribble, Sean Paul, Coolio, Run DMC, Vanilla Ice, and 2 Live Crew. It's also the home of crazy Spring Break contests, as well as the location of past Miss Hawaiian Tropic Bikini Contests. And if that isn't insane enough, Louie's features bungee jumping, go carts and much more.

| I for sure remember seeing the Miss Hawaiian Tropic contests there, and DAMN! The MCs were good, the ladies were fine, the drinks were a little steep but they came packed to the rim with as much juice as the bartender could find, and all around Louie's is one of the best places to be for entertainment in between the beach and getting back to the hotel room! |

| There's really nothing that comes close to Louie's on Texas Week. The cover is never more than 5-10 bucks, they have concerts and bikini contests almost every night in March, as well as Karaoke every night in one of the rooms. It feels a little cleaner than the other clubs (they don't do wet t-shirt contests), and the drink prices might be a little higher, but this place is packed every night, they've got something for everyone, and there's nowhere that's as consistently packed and consistently fun as Louie's. |
