| Yeah, it's on the south end of the island, but that doesn't mean it's walking distance to the clubs. You can get to/from Radisson Beach without too much trouble, but any further than that and it's definitely a cab ride. Not a lot of food options, but what you've got to choose from is pretty good. There's a decent restaurant in the marina as well as Dirty Al's and the Shrimp Haus. It's also very inexpensive and on Texas Week when the traffic is insane, you'll appreciate that it's the first place you hit on the island. It's not the most walking-friendly hotel, but for the location, you're not going to find a better price. |
