Daytona Beach
Daytona is a Central Florida town that neighbors the Atlantic coast and sits close to Disney’s world. Its warm weather starts around March and is the catalyst for a perfect spring break.
It’s not surprising that Daytona is deemed the world’s most famous beach. There are good reasons for this claim, besides its natural situation as a popular spring break destination.
Picture this: You spend quality days soaking in the sun anywhere along its 23-mile white-sand beaches. At some point, you get awed by its newly renovated Boardwalk and Street Pier.
If you prefer a more quiet and serene experience, you could slip into the New Smyrna Beach to the south, Flagler Beach to the North, or the Canaveral National Seashore.
After sunset, you’ll be spoilt for partying. Dance spots such as Razzles, Ocean Deck Club, and the Blues Club offer the latest music that’ll get you grooved all night long.
Daytona residents are known to party hard. Events like Bike Week (mid-March) and Daytona 500 often start the spring season, alongside festivities that overflow into April.
You could visit Orlando’s mega theme packs (about an hour’s drive from the coast) for hard-partying before you resume school.
Daytona beachfront hotels have unique price tags for college students, making them a popular destination you want to check out.
